As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions that meet unique business requirements. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is a key part of the daily routine to align development efforts with project goals and timelines.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Should have worked in 1 to 2 End to End Implementation projects and have experience in doing configurations and writing Functional specifications/Design.
- Experience in working in EDI interfaces will be an added advantage.
- Experience in customizing and configuring SAP Sales and Distribution modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD components effectively.
- Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP SD and other enterprise systems.
- Good understanding of data flow and process automation within sales and distribution operations.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
