As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and coordination to ensure seamless migration of applications and data. The engineer works on delivering scalable and efficient solutions that leverage both private and public cloud platforms, aiming to support advanced business objectives and enhance overall system performance. Collaboration with various teams and stakeholders is a key part of the daily routine to align migration strategies with organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud migration strategies ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align migration activities with project timelines and quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members to build their skills and support their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Automation DevOps.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud migration methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in designing scalable and high-performance cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for deployment and configuration management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud environments and migration processes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cloud Automation DevOps.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
