Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective application designs. This role requires active participation in defining detailed requirements and crafting tailored software solutions that align with organizational processes. The position demands continuous engagement in refining application functionalities to ensure they meet evolving business objectives, while also coordinating with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless integration and deployment of software components. Creativity and problem-solving are integral as the engineer works to deliver customized applications that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for software customization.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM modules and their integration capabilities.
- Experience in designing and implementing custom solutions within Workday environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Workday Core HCM applications.
- Familiarity with business process configuration and optimization in Workday.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our Nagpur office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
