Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional software solutions. The position demands continuous engagement in refining and enhancing applications to ensure they align with evolving business objectives and operational workflows. Problem-solving and adapting to new challenges are integral parts of the daily routine, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the software environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to maintain optimal system performance.
- Document design specifications and application configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Cust Financial Mgt FICA.
- Strong understanding of application design and configuration principles within enterprise software environments.
- Experience in customizing software solutions to align with business process requirements.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices for application deployment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Cust Financial Mgt FICA.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
