Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Core Engineer with strong experience in modern backend development and deep domain knowledge in Life Sciences and Healthcare interoperability standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building scalable, secure microservices using .NET Core and Web APIs, along with proven experience working with HL7-based healthcare data exchange frameworks such as FHIR, CDA, ECR, and SMART on FHIR.
This role requires a strong engineering mindset, commitment to TDD/BDD practices, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams in a regulated healthcare environment.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and Web API
Build and deploy microservices-based architectures for healthcare and life sciences platforms
Implement and consume healthcare interoperability standards including HL7, CDA, FHIR, ECR, and SMART on FHIR
Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices using NUnit and xUnit
Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration
Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployments
Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and healthcare SMEs to translate regulatory and domain requirements into technical solutions
Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards, security, and privacy requirements
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance and reliability
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ASP.NET MVC.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
