Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, your day revolves around fostering a collaborative and efficient environment for software development teams practicing Agile methodologies. You will guide teams through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring smooth communication and progress tracking. Your role involves identifying and addressing obstacles that may hinder the team's productivity, while continuously supporting and motivating team members to maintain focus on their goals. You will also engage with multiple stakeholders to align efforts and promote transparency throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to the overall success of the development process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Monitor and report team progress using relevant metrics to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
- Promote continuous improvement by coaching and mentoring team members on Agile principles and practices.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a learning environment.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Agile Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience in facilitating team collaboration and conflict resolution.
- Ability to track and analyze project metrics to drive performance improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams.
- Capability to identify and remove impediments that affect team productivity.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Agile Project Management.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
