Performance Engineer
Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary:
As a Performance Engineer, you will engage in diagnosing complex issues that the in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions that enhance system efficiency. You will also participate in discussions regarding software architecture and contribute to the overall performance management strategy, ensuring that applications meet the required performance standards and user expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Create and maintain Kibana dashboards and visualizations
Write KQL/Lucene queries and Elasticsearch aggregations
Work with Elasticsearch indexes and mappings
Parse and enrich data using Logstash or ingest pipelines
Collaborate with teams to understand reporting requirements
Professional & Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch & Kibana
Proficiency in KQL and aggregations
Working knowledge of Logstash
Understanding of JSON, REST APIs, and Linux basics
Experience with log or time-series data
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ELK Dashboard Developer to build and maintain effective Kibana dashboards by transforming log and event data into meaningful visual insights.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
