Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement modern frameworks and agile practices, ensuring the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions that are tailored to meet specific business needs. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems to improve performance and reliability, while continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement in software development processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve system performance and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Unix Shell Scripting, Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health and performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office. 5 day WFO
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- The candidate should have minimum 7 year s experience in application support, with exposure in Banking industry.
- Have basic technical skills e.g. SQL, Unix, Microservices, CI/CD tolls etc.
