Quality Engineer (Tester)
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will execute manual test cases and document results clearly,validate new features, bug fixes, and enhancements across different devices/environments ,reproduce defects and assist developers with logs and steps to replicate, create and update basic test cases, checklists, and test data under guidance and maintain clear records of test results, screenshots, and issue summaries. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Defect Reporting • Log defects accurately with detailed steps, expected vs actual results, and supporting evidence. • Track assigned defects and verify fixes during regression cycles. 2. Collaboration • Work with senior testers to understand testing processes, tools, and best practices. • Participate in sprint ceremonies (refinement, daily stand-ups, retros) where needed. 3. Learning & Growth • Learn testing techniques, domain knowledge, and tools like JIRA, TestRail, Postman, browser dev tools, etc. • Build fundamental understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile workflows. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks. - Familiarity with API testing and security testing techniques. - Ability to analyze and report on testing results to stakeholders. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Veeva Vault. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
