Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA with 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in database administration. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle database management, along with secondary skills in PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS, and Ansible to support multi-database environments and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases in production and non-production environments. Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize query performance. Perform backup and recovery using RMAN and ensure database security and compliance. Manage users, roles, and permissions in Oracle databases. Work on PostgreSQL and MySQL databases for basic administration, migration, and troubleshooting. Support cloud-based database deployments on AWS RDS/Aurora and optimize cloud resources. Automate routine DBA tasks using Ansible and shell scripting. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for database best practices and optimization. Perform patching, upgrades, and security hardening of databases. Required Skills & Qualifications: Primary Skill: Oracle Database Administration (3+ years) Secondary Skills: PostgreSQL, MySQL (basic administration and troubleshooting) Hands-on experience with AWS RDS/Aurora Knowledge of Ansible for database automation Experience with backup & recovery, performance tuning, and query optimization Strong understanding of database security and user management Experience working in a Linux environment Preferred Skills: Experience with database migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL/MySQL Knowledge of tools like Ansible Familiarity with ITIL processes for database change management
