Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the applications meet the required specifications and standards. You will engage in discussions to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements, while also overseeing the development process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and providing support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI CO Finance. - Strong functional expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and deep hands-on knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Record to Report (R2R), Banking, and Taxation. - This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP modules to design, configure, and support integrated financial solutions in SAP. - Must have SAP S/4HANA hands on experience. - Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting. - Experience with integration of SAP modules. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues. - Familiarity with project management methodologies. - Familiarity with Configure and support FI sub-modules: - Accounts Payable (AP) – Vendor accounting, payment programs, withholding tax - General Ledger (GL) – New GL, document splitting. - Record to Report (R2R) – Month-end close, financial reporting - Manage Banking processes, including: - Familiarity with Bank master data - Familiarity with Electronic Bank Statements (EBS) - Familiarity with Payment run configuration and bank interfaces Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP FI CO Finance. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
