Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cloudflare DNS Engineer to manage, optimize, and troubleshoot our DNS infrastructure using Cloudflare services. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in DNS technologies, Cloudflare products, and Infoblox product to design, deploy, manage, and support DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) services across enterprise environments. Roles & Responsibilities: Cloudflare DNS • Maintain DNS infrastructure using Cloudflare services. • Configure and optimize Cloudflare features including DNS, CDN, Firewall, Load Balancing, and SSL/TLS settings. • Monitor DNS performance, analyze logs, and implement improvements for high availability and low latency. • Troubleshoot and resolve DNS-related incidents and outages. • Implement best practices for DNS security, including DDoS mitigation, DNSSEC, and rate limiting. • Collaborate with network, security, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of DNS services. • Maintain documentation of DNS architecture, configurations, and operational procedures. • Stay updated on new Cloudflare features, DNS standards, and internet protocols. • Design and deploy Infoblox DDI infrastructure including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services. • Configure Infoblox Grid Masters, Members, Failover pairs, and Grid Replication for high availability. • Migrate existing DNS/DHCP services from legacy platforms (e.g., Microsoft, BIND) to Infoblox. • Implement DNS forwarding, zone delegation, and split-horizon configurations. • Define and enforce naming conventions, IP allocation policies, and DHCP scopes. • Integrate Infoblox with Active Directory, DHCP failover, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Participate in design reviews, capacity planning, and system architecture sessions. Professional and Technical Skills : • 3 o 5 years of experience in enterprise networking and unified communications. • Strong technical expertise in IP routing, switching, wireless networks, and circuits. • Perform DNS record management (A, AAAA, CNAME, PTR, MX, SRV, TXT, etc.) and DHCP lease management. • Maintain IPAM databases, ensuring address space consistency and accuracy. • Apply software upgrades, patches, and security updates to Infoblox appliances. • Troubleshoot and resolve DNS resolution, DHCP allocation, and IP conflicts in coordination with NOC/network teams. • Implement DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) and RPZ (Response Policy Zones) for DNS protection. • Enforce role-based access control (RBAC) and audit logging for Infoblox administrators. • Integrate Infoblox with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) for DNS traffic analytics. • Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory network security standards. • Support incident response for DNS-related attacks (e.g., DDoS, spoofing, cache poisoning. Preferred Certifications: Infoblox Core DDI Professional (CDP) or Infoblox Accredited DDI Engineer (IBAE) • Experience with cloud DDI solutions such as BloxOne DDI, AWS Route53, or Azure DNS.
