Summary: As a Non-Production Environment Engineer, you will be responsible for the build, configuration, maintenance, and support of our critical development, testing, and staging environments. You will work closely with development and QA teams to understand their infrastructure needs, provision and manage compute, storage, and networking resources, implement automation strategies for environment provisioning and management, troubleshoot environment-related issues, and ensure the stability and reliability of these non-production landscapes to facilitate efficient software development and testing cycles. Your focus will be on optimizing these environments for performance, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to security best practices, ultimately contributing to the faster and higher-quality delivery of our products. As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will collaborate with team members to enhance database functionality and support various applications, ensuring that data is accessible and secure for users across the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations. - Assist in the development of backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM DB2 Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Unix Shell Scripting. - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database queries. - Familiarity with database security protocols and data integrity measures. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
