Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Data Analyst to lead data analysis efforts for a high-impact data migration program within the insurance domain. This role demands deep expertise in Guidewire and PMT data models, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, quality, and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the analysis of complex source system data to identify anomalies, gaps, and data quality issues. • Partner with source system SMEs and business stakeholders to understand data semantics, business rules, and transformation requirements. • Define and document end-to-end source-to-target data mappings, including cleansing, enrichment, and transformation logic. • Provide strategic input into data migration architecture and tooling decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Oversee the development and execution of data profiling, validation, and reconciliation processes. • Act as a data quality champion, driving standards and best practices across the migration team. • Collaborate with data engineers, ETL developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of data logic. • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building a high-performing data migration team. • Prepare and present data insights, mapping decisions, and issue resolutions to senior stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. • 7+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 3 years in data migration projects. • Strong domain expertise in insurance, with hands-on experience in Guidewire and PMT data models. • Advanced proficiency in SQL, data profiling tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). • Proven experience in data cleansing, transformation, and mapping in large-scale enterprise environments. • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills. • Ability to lead cross-functional discussions and drive consensus on complex data issues. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and master data management (MDM). • Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
