, USHI DEVELOPER JOB DESCRIPTION USHI, is a platform for automating operational activities in Bunge facilities, related to the delivery and dispatch of goods, quality testing and handling of required documents. The platform enhances the security and efficiency of interactions between Bunge and its suppliers in terms of merchandise delivery and sales process support. The entire platform was created in-house. (No complete documentation exists) The platform is already implemented in several locations in Europe. Bunge needs to implement it in other locations and countries. The platform consists of two modules: 1. Application server - this is the part that connects directly to SAP and enables the management of financial and logistics transport, i.e. contract control, planning visits, checking deliveries, checking available quantities, planning orders, etc. 2. Logistics server – supports measuring and controlling the movement of vehicles and commodities, ensuring automation and security of operations on the premises of the facility and document handling. Technology stack: Java 1.8, JEE, Swing, JForms, Java Web Start, Hibernate, JBoss, Tomcat, Oracle, Jasper Reports, BitBucket, Bamboo Tasks: • implement change request and platform enhancements based on business needs; • work on implementations (work on the backend and frontend, temporarily in Bunge facilities in Europe); • collaborate on device integration at Bunge locations in Europe; • troubleshooting production issues related to availability and performance; • collaborate with Bunge's infrastructure and network teams to address issues related to their areas of business; • cooperation with external subcontractors who will implement system elements together with the USHI team; • conceptual and implementation work on modernization and refactoring of the system; Required technologies/skills: • experience in older technologies like JEE and JForms; • experience in Oracle DBs; • ability to improve the code in small steps and work with monolith application; • English at a level that allows for free communication in speech and writing; • independence at work; • the ability to approach the problem in a holistic way, looking for effective solutions taking into account time and technological constraint; • a sense of responsibility for one's own and the team's work; • experience in communication with IoT devices (control, measurement, control); Recommended technologies/skills: • Spring MVC • Maven / Gradle • Angular • ability to write unit tests • knowledge of communication protocols with IoT devices
