Summary: Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced RTL Design Manager to lead a team of RTL design engineers in delivering complex IP/SoC designs. The candidate will be responsible for driving design execution, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and technical excellence. This role requires strong technical depth in RTL design, people management, and cross-functional collaboration with verification, physical design, and program management teams. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage a team of RTL engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and career development. • Drive block- and subsystem-level RTL design, integration, and delivery for SoC/IP projects. • Review and approve specifications, micro-architecture, and RTL implementations for quality and efficiency. • Ensure adherence to design guidelines, coding standards, and best practices across the team. • Collaborate closely with architects, verification, and physical design teams to align on requirements, schedules, and deliverables. • Own design quality sign-off through lint, CDC, synthesis, and timing closure reviews. • Track project execution, manage risks, and report status to program stakeholders. • Provide technical solutions and guidance during design reviews and debug cycles. • Contribute to recruitment, team building, and resource planning to meet business needs. As a Software Development Lead, you will engage in the development and configuration of software systems, either managing the entire process or focusing on specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your day will involve applying your extensive knowledge of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to support projects and clients effectively, ensuring that all aspects of software development are executed with precision and quality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance. - Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in RTL Design. - Strong understanding of digital design principles and methodologies. - Experience with simulation and verification tools. - Familiarity with hardware description languages such as VHDL or Verilog. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize design performance. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in RTL Design. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
