Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are aligned with business objectives. You will engage in problem-solving activities, participate in team meetings, and contribute to the overall success of projects by leveraging your expertise in application development. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features. -Experience in migrating VMware workload (vCenter/ESXi) from on-prem/hyperscalers using HCX/Native tools Google Cloud VM Migration (GCE or GCVE) -- Basic Cloud infrastructure skills like managing servers, virtual network, firewall and load balancer etc. - Should be able to collaborate (in technical capacity) on customer-facing Cloud migrations including the entire lifecycle of discovery, assessment, planning, and execution. -Expertise in one or more of the following: Networking, DevOps, Security, Compute / Storage, Kubernetes, or SRE -Experience with VMware infrastructure including but not limited to vSphere, VCD, HCX & NST -Migrations & knowledge of NSX(-T) & Migrations using HCX is preferred. -Work with customer technical leads, client managers, and partners to plan and deliver successful implementations of cloud migration projects becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement. -Work with internal specialists, product and engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies and published assets. - Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes. -Provide expert guidance on VMware architecture, network configuration, storage optimization, and security best practices in the context of Google --VMware Engine (GCVE) and GCP Networking experience to enable GCVE deployments Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with React.js. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies. - Experience in application development using modern programming languages. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
