Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project specifications, developing application features, and ensuring that the applications function seamlessly to support business operations. You will engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of the projects by implementing innovative solutions and best practices in application development. Roles & Responsibilities: • Sr. QA Engineer - Working directly with Outcome driven agile teams with solid QA ownership and responsibility to deliver quality ensured sprint objectives with true 100% Definition of Done. • Active participation in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint Kick-off & planning, refinement sessions, retrospectives, sprint demos, ceremonies, daily Scrums on Scrums Calls, Release GO / NO meetings, Releases Improvement Kata as well as any other weekly meetings. • Ability to drive Modernized Test Automation Frameworks and Solutions to achieve component-based testing - across multiple layers GUI layer, API Endpoints layer and Data Batch ETLs • Implement Test Transformation initiatives - Present logical arguments for and against automation processes in place, automation tools, and automation tasks. • Coordinate automation tests tasks within the team, including code management and review. Check and monitor each pipeline built integrated Test automation suites results & overnight test execution results. • In Agile PODs work alongside the development team, raising bugs and errors and determining resolution, and the product team for clarification on requirements and functionality • Collaborate with application development, architecture, IT infrastructure, and business operations teams to lead the definition of Integration requirements for both new releases and application/system updates. • Develop and review System Integration test strategies, plans, and profiles to ensure coverage of product features and meeting release schedules. • Working directly with POD level agile teams drive with QA ownership and analyze cross POD impacts and plan for Integration and E2E Testing to achieve True 100% Definition of Done • Leading the System Integration Test executions with multiple vendors co-ordination to successfully validate API – End points (Micro Services) and Batch interfaces • Hands on experience in API Endpoints testing and Customized Automation Test automation frameworks integration to Devops Pipelines • Schedule, coordinate, and/or execute testing activities occurring in the Integrated test environment • Log software defects using a bug tracking system and work closely with software development team to analyze defects and track them to resolution. • Demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal abilities Required Skills & Background • Previous QA lead experience - Strong communication and leadership skills • Strong Knowledge in Test Life Cycle/Test Methodology with Defect Life Cycle • Hands on experience in development and implementation of test frameworks for Automation (Selenium TestNG), Mobile (Appium), Playwright / Cypress.io / Cucumber Business flow driven frameworks in Cloud testing environments • Hands on Experience in Test Automation Framework Building for API Automated Testing using Robot Framework – Python scripting / Rest Assured with Java - Groovy Scripting - Writing and executing API test scripts in multiple QA environments • Hands on experience in Contract Testing – with tools sets like PACT.io • Rest API calls Automated API Testing experience with ReadyAPI / Rest Assured, Postman. Good exposure to Jmeter • Strong developer foundation – Hands on experience in SQL and ETL Testing in GCP Platform – Big Data, Big Query with Batch jobs automation skills • Strong grounding in manual testing (Banking and Cards Domain) – with Agile projects experience • Experience in Banking (Debit) – Temenos T24 Transact Product - Direct Consumer Retail Banking Products and Solutions – Realtime API’s and Batch file consumption & processing • Experience in Credit CARDS – TSYS TS2 Platform, ADM, TCS • TSYS TS2 Experience (Options Testing - Authorization, Terms, Statements, Triad, Collateral and Maintenance of customer information) • ADM experience within TSYS platforms • Experience in Testing - interactive Digital Channels - Web Responsive (Analytics, Accessibility) & Mobile Apps (IOS & ANDROID) testing – Manual & Automation • Good hands knowledge in various Test Management / Defect Tracking / Communication Tools / Reporting tools & Integration – Confluence, JIRA, Test Rail, Grafana, ReportPortal.io, Power BI / Tableau Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 year full time education is required.
