Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific requirements within the product lifecycle. This role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to effectively support clients, projects, or organizational entities. The work often includes collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure that software solutions align with business needs and project goals, while continuously adapting to evolving technical environments and challenges.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter.
- Experience in software configuration and customization within product lifecycle management environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex software issues and develop effective solutions.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and lifecycle processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Good communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
