Job Description – Application Developer (Tosca Automation – SAP Focus) CL 11 Position: Application Developer – Tosca Automation Location: Bengaluru (On-site/Hybrid as applicable) Experience: Minimum 3 years in Tosca (SAP focus preferred) Education: 15 years of full-time education required ________________________________________ Summary As an Application Developer, you will play a key role in the design, construction, and configuration of automated solutions using Tosca, specifically tailored to business processes in SAP applications. Your daily responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, building scalable automation solutions, and ensuring robust test coverage across SAP modules. You will also engage in testing, debugging, and continuous optimization of automation suites, with a focus on enhancing reliability, efficiency, and user experience. Experience in Tosca DI (Data Integrity) will be a strong advantage. ________________________________________ Roles & Responsibilities • Work independently as a Tosca SME for SAP automation. • Actively participate and contribute to team discussions and solution design. • Design, develop, and maintain Tosca test cases/modules for SAP (SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, S/4HANA). • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide solutions for project-related challenges. • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to automation best practices. • Assist in the documentation of test design, automation approach, and user guides. • Execute regression and functional test automation, ensuring high test coverage. • Integrate Tosca automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. ________________________________________ Professional & Technical Skills Must Have: • Proficiency in Tricentis Tosca Testsuite with at least 3 years of hands-on experience. • Strong expertise in SAP automation (SAP GUI, Fiori, ECC, or S/4HANA). • Good understanding of application development methodologies and SDLC. • Experience with automation frameworks and test management using Tosca. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues efficiently. Good to Have: • Experience in Tosca DI (Data Integrity) for data validation across systems. • Exposure to API automation and service virtualization with Tosca. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.). ________________________________________ Additional Information • The role requires a minimum of 3 years of Tosca experience (SAP focus preferred). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • This position is based out of our Bengaluru office.
