As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific project requirements or managing the entire product lifecycle. The role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients and project teams. Daily activities include collaborating with stakeholders to ensure software solutions align with business needs, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving system performance to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery of software components.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter.
- Strong experience in software development lifecycle and configuration management.
- Ability to analyze complex system requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Familiarity with integration of software tools and platforms to support product lifecycle management.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within software systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable software.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter.
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
