Summary: The Operations Lead oversees the daily supervision of delivery, process, and business operations teams. The role includes managing workloads, assigning tasks, and developing team members. This position requires on-site presence in Bangalore and direct interaction with client engineers. Additionally, the lead acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in network, network security, IP management, F5, and telecom, often serving as the escalation point for issue resolution and customer concerns. ________________________________________ Roles and Responsibilities: • Interpret business objectives and execute operational practices accordingly. • Supervise the proper execution of team processes. • Act as the client interface on-site in Bangalore. • Review and assign incoming work with clarity and direction. • Perform client-related tasks, including data entry, when required. • Apply expert process and systems knowledge to daily responsibilities. • Manage daily operations, including staffing, workload balancing, and scheduling. • Facilitate equitable distribution of tasks and team development. • Conduct quality checks on outgoing work for accuracy and consistency. • Develop training materials, job aids, and internal documentation. • Analyze and interpret complex data and reporting. • Act as SME for team members, peers, and clients. • Identify and resolve complex problems and escalate as needed. • Conduct quality audits and drive process improvements. • Track operational metrics and escalate issues to supervisors. • Lead team meetings and contribute to new hire onboarding. • Ensure time and expense reporting compliance. • Oversee complex projects with minimal supervision. ________________________________________ Technical Experience & Professional Attributes: Network & Infrastructure: • LAN/WAN troubleshooting, installation, migration, and configuration. • Switches, routers, and wireless equipment management. • IP routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP. • Ethernet switching: VLANs, VTP, EtherChannel (PAgP/LACP), STP (PVST, RPVST, RSTP, MSTP, CST). • Layer 3 Switching and Inter-VLAN Routing. • Nexus Switching: VDC, vPC, FabricPath. • Cisco ISE for secure network access. • Infoblox DDI for IP management. • DNS/DHCP configuration and support. • Cisco SD-WAN troubleshooting and operations. • Azure Cloud network support. • MPLS Core (Juniper preferred). • Network monitoring tools: Wireshark, SolarWinds. Security: • ITIL-based knowledge in incident, change, and problem management. • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls. • AlgoSec for firewall policy analysis and risk management. • F5 LTM/GTM configuration and management. • GRE and IPsec VPN configuration. Telecom & Voice: • VoIP QoS troubleshooting. • SIP trunking and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM). • DSP farm configuration with CallManager. • Cisco SIP Proxy (CUSP) call routing understanding. • Telecom call flow routing and vectoring optimization. • NICE Call Recording and IP phone user management. Other Tools & Skills: • Experience in managing complex, distributed voice and data networks. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities. • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills. ________________________________________ Education Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). ________________________________________ Additional Information: • The role is based on-site in Bangalore and requires regular interaction with client engineers. • May require flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends. • Ability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision. • Expected to comply with time tracking and client billing policies. ________________________________________ Certifications: • Mandatory/Preferred: o CCNA o CCNA Security o CISSP (preferred)
