Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Applications DBA to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle database administration, application patching, cloning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across production and non-production environments. This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) environments including installation, configuration, patching, cloning, and upgrades. • Perform database tuning, application tuning, and proactive monitoring of Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c). • Manage concurrent managers, workflow services, and application tier components. • Implement and maintain backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard. • Ensure database security, compliance, and audit readiness. • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. • Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripting or other tools. • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution. • Provide on-call support and handle critical incidents with minimal downtime. • Document procedures, configurations, and best practices. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • 8+ years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA. • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 (including AD utilities, patching, cloning). • Proficiency in Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c administration. • Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard. • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting. • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives. Preferred Skills: • Exposure to Oracle WebLogic, SOA Suite, and APEX. • Experience with performance monitoring tools like OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager). • Understanding of ITIL processes and change management. • Experience in managing large-scale production environments.
