Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will engage in a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of production and development systems. Your typical day will involve providing technical support and maintenance for software products and configured services across different platforms. You will work both remotely and onsite, addressing hardware and software issues while implementing technology solutions at the operating system level. Your role will require you to troubleshoot basic and intermediate level problems, ensuring that all systems function optimally and meet the defined operating model and processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, build, implement, upgrade, and maintain AD and PKI infrastructure. - Plan and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to align with organizational compliance standards. - Perform routine and advanced AD and PKI administrative tasks. - Administrator Red Forest / MS tiering architecture for domain security. - Manage delegated access control across AD infrastructure. - Administer and support Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. - Maintain and optimize Microsoft Windows OS technologies including: - AD Forests, Domains, Trusts - DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Organizational Units - Distributed File System (DFS) - PKI and Certificate Services - Handle AD backup and restoration, schema administration, and directory infrastructure. - Monitor and report on domain reliability and security. - Manage Domain Controllers and associated security tools. - Configure alerting and event distribution for OU Admins. - Lead migrations and upgrades related to AD and DCs. - Support and maintain Enterprise PKI technologies. - Administer PKI certificate lifecycle and evaluate new PKI products. - Participate in deployment of new PKI applications and services. - Develop and implement authentication and PKI solutions. - Ensure all PKI changes follow standard procedures and change control policies Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Windows Server administration. - Strong understanding of network protocols and services. - Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. - Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. -Strong understanding of Microsoft Certificate Services. -Proven experience with Red Forest architecture and PAM solutions. -Expertise in AD schema, GPOs, and domain controller management. -Familiarity with AD backup, restoration, and monitoring tools. -Experience in documenting technical procedures and operating standards Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in Microsoft Active Directory. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
