Summary: Seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in Payments across Canadian and or global markets. The role involves driving business analysis for ISO 20022, SWIFT MT/MX, and modern payment systems including Lynx, RTR, ACH, and Fedwire. Key Responsibilities: • Gather and document business/functional requirements for payment processing systems. • Lead workshops and perform gap analysis across Canadian (RTR, ACSS, Lynx) and global schemes (SWIFT, Fedwire, Nacha). • Define BRDs/FRDs for payment product features and platform integrations. • Support ISO 20022 migration – pain, pacs, camt messages. • Map SWIFT MT to MX messages and support compliance integrations (fraud, sanctions). • Coordinate across Dev, QA, and Ops for implementation and testing. • Ensure traceability and regulatory adherence throughout delivery lifecycle. • Liaise with external vendors, central banks, and scheme operators. Required Skills: • 8+ years in payments as a BA. • Strong knowledge of Canadian systems (Lynx, RTR, ACSS) and global schemes (SWIFT MT/MX, Fedwire). • ISO 20022 hands-on: pain.001, pacs.008, camt.053/054. • Experience in modernization projects, real-time payments, and wire transfers. • Skilled in process modeling, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. • Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, Visio , Excel( or similar tools), Agile. Nice to Have: • Canadian Payments Modernization experience. • Familiarity with FIS, Finastra, Volante, ACI platforms. • Exposure to fraud/compliance tools (Fircosoft, Actimize). • Payments or ISO certifications. Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, or IT. Certifications in payments/ISO 20022 preferred.
