Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous engagement with team members to drive the project forward efficiently and effectively. The engineer acts as the central figure in managing the technical aspects and aligning the project goals with organizational objectives, fostering collaboration and innovation throughout the development process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth within the project.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align technical efforts with business needs.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Tivoli Netcool.
- Strong knowledge of network management and monitoring tools related to IBM Tivoli Netcool.
- Experience in application design, configuration, and integration within complex IT environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed systems and multi-team projects.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess system performance and implement improvements.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in IBM Tivoli Netcool.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
