, Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will engage in the development and configuration of software systems, either managing the entire process or focusing on specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your day will involve applying your extensive knowledge of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients and projects, ensuring that all software solutions meet the required standards and specifications. You will collaborate with team members to drive innovation and efficiency in software development, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: • Deliver global projects on business and IT transformation for refining or petrochemical clients. • Lead client project delivery related to Downstream Refining and Petrochemicals Especially, in Refinery Planning and Scheduling capability. • Conduct workshops to model design, data gathering and redundancy analysis. • Work on internal assignments within Accenture like Asset development, technical paper presentation, Knowledge content, sales collaterals, Go to Market materials etc. • Support the sales and solution design team at various stages the Project Sales / Delivery Professional & Technical Skills: • 10 to 15 years overall Experience in Downstream Petroleum Refining and Petrochemicals with refinery application development or support experience. • 3 to 5 years Industry specific experience in the Refinery Planning and Scheduling function • Knowledge of refinery Operations, refinery Configuration and business Process. • Hands on experience of configuration of refinery related software like Aspen Petroleum Scheduler (APS), PIMS or Aveva Spiral etc. • Scheduling, Tank Farm Operations division and /or delivered Scheduling solution to Oil and Gas clients in consulting assignment Additional Information: • BE / BTech /ME/MTech Chemical Engineering or Refining / Petrochemical majors • MBA / PGDBA • This position is based at our Bengaluru office. • A 15 years full time education is required.
