Summary:
As a Large Language Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better align with specific instructions and domain requirements. This role focuses on enhancing the model's ability to understand and generate contextually relevant outputs by carefully adjusting parameters and training data. Collaboration with various teams to integrate improvements and ensure the model meets performance expectations is a key part of daily activities. Continuous evaluation and iteration are essential to maintain the model's effectiveness across diverse applications and use cases.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize model fine-tuning processes.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to foster continuous improvement.
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs), Java and Python.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Machine Learning (ML).
- Experience in AI application development, focusing on cloud-based AI model integration, deployment, and optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and experience with AI/ML frameworks like Spring AI, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Agno, Pydantic, TensorFlow etc.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services for AI, including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search for developing and deploying AI applications at scale.
- Proficiency in advanced AI architecture patterns, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic RAG, MCP, Functional Calling, A2A especially in an Azure environment.
- Experience in prompt engineering, context engineering, vector databases, embedding/chunking strategies, and real-time data integration.
- Experience in evaluating model output and optimization
- Strong understanding of natural language processing techniques and model architectures.
- Experience in fine-tuning models for specific domains and instruction-based tasks.
- Ability to analyze model performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Familiarity with data preprocessing and augmentation methods to enhance training datasets.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
