Summary: As a Data Centre Lead, you will oversee the essential physical components of a data center, ensuring optimal management of floor space, air conditioning, power installations, and vendor relationships. Your typical day will involve coordinating with various teams to maintain 24/7 services, including batch management and system event monitoring, while also supervising data center operators to ensure smooth operations and adherence to best practices. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Develop and implement strategies to enhance data center efficiency and reliability. - Monitor and report on data center performance metrics to ensure service level agreements are met. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS. - Strong understanding of data center operations and management. - Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations. - Knowledge of power and cooling systems in data centers. - Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
