Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your day will involve overseeing the application development process and ensuring successful implementation. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to be an SME • Lead and manage the Anaplan technical team, including solution architects, model builders, and analysts. • Own the technical architecture and governance of Anaplan across all business functions (e.g., Finance, Sales, Supply Chain). • Design, build, and optimize Anaplan models in line with best practices for scalability, performance, and usability. • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integrated Anaplan solutions. • Ensure data integration between Anaplan and source systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, Data Lakes) using Anaplan Connect, APIs, or middleware tools. • Drive the Anaplan development lifecycle, including sprint planning, testing, documentation, deployment, and ongoing support. • Establish and enforce modeling standards, version control, and documentation protocols. • Evaluate and implement new Anaplan features, releases, and automation capabilities. • Provide technical leadership during major projects, migrations, and Anaplan roadmap planning. • Own the end-to-end Anaplan development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to model design, build, testing, deployment, and support. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand planning needs and translate them into scalable Anaplan solutions. • Ensure adherence to Anaplan best practices in model design, modularity, performance, and maintainability. • Drive adoption and continuous improvement of Anaplan use cases across the business (e.g., FP&A, workforce planning, sales performance). • Manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet project deliverables. • Provide technical guidance and quality control, conducting model audits and design reviews. • Oversee data integration and automation efforts between Anaplan and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse). • Stay current on Anaplan platform updates and new features, evaluating opportunities for innovation and improvement. • Deliver technical training and mentoring to junior model builders and ensure team skill growth. • Deliver assigned work successfully and on-time with high-quality Professional & Technical Skills: • Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Anaplan • Must Have: Certified Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner preferred • Strong understanding of application development processes • Experience in leading application design and configuration • Knowledge of project management principles • Excellent communication and leadership skills Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile methodologies Additional Information: - The candidate should have 12+ years of experience in planning or financial systems roles and a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Anaplan - This position is available at our PAN India Locations - A 15-year full-time education is required
