Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications are built to meet both functional and non-functional requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies to drive innovation within the team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones. - Handle and resolve questions and service requests from employees via the Jira ticket system, ensuring timely and effective responses. - Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to the cloud platform, including troubleshooting and problem resolution. - Develop and maintain documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to help users resolve common issues independently. - Work closely with other team members, IT departments, and cloud service providers to address and resolve complex issues. - Continuously monitor the cloud platform's performance and health, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact users. - Assist in training and onboarding new employees on the use of the cloud platform and related tools. - Generate and analyze reports on support activities, ticket trends, and system performance to provide insights and recommendations for improvement. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure As Code (IaC). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Architecture, Google Cloud Platform Administration. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure management. - Experience with automation tools and frameworks. - Familiarity with configuration management tools. - 5 years of hands-on experience with GCP incl. relevant certifications – Azure knowledge in addition is an asset - 3 years of work experience with infrastructure-as-code and Terraform or similar automation tools - 3 years of working experience with GitHub, Jira or similar - Previous experience in a technical support role, preferably in a cloud environment Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Infrastructure As Code (IaC). - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
