Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, then translating those needs into detailed application designs. This position requires continuous interaction with various teams to ensure the applications developed effectively support business objectives and deliver value. The engineer actively participates in refining application features and contributes to the overall enhancement of software systems to meet evolving business demands.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding their professional development.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align project goals and deliverables with business strategies.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Prism Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Experience in designing and developing custom software solutions tailored to specific business requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with data integration and transformation processes within enterprise software environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Prism Analytics.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
