Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the needs of the organization and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals, while continuously refining and enhancing the software to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Attention to detail and adaptability are key as the engineer navigates through different phases of application development and deployment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of junior team members.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- Strong experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using Oracle PLSQL.
- Ability to optimize and tune database performance for large-scale applications.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting database-related issues effectively.
- Familiarity with integrating PLSQL code with other application components and services.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
