Project Role Description : Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.

Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for overseeing the application development process and ensuring successful project delivery. A key aspect of your role will be designing solutions for intricate business problems and mentoring a team of Software Developers/Engineers. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and Implement complex OMS solutions and support all project phases, including analysis, development, testing, and production. - Share your experience and insights to guide junior colleagues, fostering their leadership development and helping identify optimal solutions for clients. - Collaborate with team members, including team leaders, technical architects, functional specialists, UX/UI experts, and other developers, to effectively complete project tasks. - Engage with client representatives to understand their needs and assist them in determining the best solutions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Lead the application development process - Ensure successful project delivery - Implement best practices for application design and configuration Professional & Technical Skills: - 7+ years of project experience with at least one leading Order Management System solution (preferably IBM Sterling Commerce, but Fluent Commerce, Manhattan, or Salesforce OMS experience is also acceptable). - 3+ years of experience in design and implementation of IBM Sterling OMS solutions. - Strong command in OMS modules like Order Orchestration, Supply Collaboration, Distributed Order management, Payment Integration, Inventory Management and Reverse logistics. - A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable knowledge. - Strong proficiency in English. - Backend development skills, including: Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., MVC) and event-driven architecture. Experience with object-oriented programming languages, primarily Java or similar. Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Programming experience, ideally in Java and JavaScript, with JavaScript ReactJS as a bonus. Additional Information: - Experience with backend integration projects in eCommerce and retail ecosystems. - Knowledge of microservices and container orchestration. - Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, AZURE, IBM Cloud, and technologies including REST, GraphQL, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript. - This position is based at our Chennai office - A 15 years full-time education is required
