Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the application. You will collaborate with team members, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the overall success of the project. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements and design software solutions. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement the designed solutions. - Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the code. - Participate in code reviews to provide feedback and improve the overall codebase. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. - Experience with web application development using Java EE frameworks. - Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate ORM. - Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
