We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager (FinOps Practitioner) to lead our Cloud FinOps Team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills, particularly in Python, BigQuery, Power BI to optimize our financial processes and enhance our cloud financial management. Roles & Responsibilities: - Develop and implement FinOps strategies that align with our business objectives. - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure optimal cloud spending. - Manage and mentor a team of FinOps analysts and practitioners. - Analyse cloud spending patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities. - Implement best practices for cloud resource utilization. - Utilize Python to automate financial reporting processes, enhance data analysis capabilities. - Create dashboards that provide insights into cloud expenditures. - Work closely with finance, engineering, and product teams to ensure alignment on financial goals. - Drive accountability for cloud spending. - Establish and maintain financial governance policies. - Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. - Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of FinOps initiatives Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. - Experience in financial operations, cloud financial management, or related fields. - Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and their billing systems is a plus. - Good To Have Skills: AWS/Azure/GCP certified. - Recommendation: FinOps Certified Practitioner is a plus. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12+ years of experience in financial operations, cloud financial management, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. - This position is based at our Bangalore, Hyderabad or Mumbai office. - A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
