Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of system performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Provide support to end-users and ensure the smooth functioning of applications. - Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement. - Document and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles. - Participate in the implementation of system enhancements and upgrades. - Assist in the testing and validation of application changes and updates. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ControlM Administration. - Strong understanding of ITIL processes and incident management. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application issues. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell or Python. - Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with IT service management tools like ServiceNow. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in ControlM Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
