Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed according to specifications and are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing user requirements, designing application architecture, coding and testing applications, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the development process. You will also be involved in documenting the application design and providing support to end-users. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and design application architecture. - Code, test, and debug applications to ensure they meet business process and application requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the development process. - Document application design, including database structure, user interface, and system architecture. - Provide support and training to end-users on the developed applications. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve application development processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ALIP Development. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing applications using ALIP platform. - Knowledge of insurance domain and understanding of insurance business processes. - Experience with integration technologies and frameworks such as SOAP, REST, and ESB. - Familiarity with database management systems and SQL. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java development. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in ALIP Development. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
