Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed and implemented effectively to support the organization's goals and objectives. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team, analyzing business requirements, designing application solutions, and configuring the applications to meet the specific needs of the business. You will also be involved in testing and debugging applications to ensure their functionality and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Design and develop high-quality applications that meet the business process and application requirements. - Configure and customize applications to meet the specific needs of the business. - Perform testing and debugging of applications to ensure their functionality and performance. - Provide technical guidance and support to the team members. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to application development. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the application development processes and methodologies. - Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with other systems. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. - Document technical specifications, user manuals, and other relevant documentation. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and provide timely support to end-users. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing applications using SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). - Knowledge of SAP modules and integration with other systems. - Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) applications. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP ABAP programming language. - Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development. - Knowledge of SAP HANA database and data modeling. - Experience with SAP implementation projects. - Understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
