Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed according to the specified requirements and are aligned with the business goals. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to understand the application requirements, designing and developing the application components, and testing and debugging the application to ensure its functionality and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design and develop applications based on business process and application requirements. - Configure applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements. - Collaborate with the team to understand the application requirements and provide technical guidance. - Test and debug applications to ensure their functionality and performance. - Identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the applications. - Ensure that the applications are developed according to the coding standards and best practices. - Document the application design, development, and configuration processes. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in application development. - Provide technical support and guidance to the end-users of the applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the applications. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the application development processes and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS). - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing applications using Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS). - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL. - Experience with data integration and ETL processes. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). - Experience with Oracle Essbase. - Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting processes. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of applications. - Understanding of cloud-based application development and deployment. - Recommendation: Proficiency in Oracle Financials Cloud. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
