Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead), you will lead a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. You will apply business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Your role will involve applying testing methodologies, principles, and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. - Develop end-to-end testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies. - Apply testing methodologies, principles, and processes to define and implement key metrics for managing and assessing the testing process. - Manage test execution and defect resolution. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the application lifecycle. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers. - Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality engineering. - Conduct regular quality assessments and audits. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. - Communicate test results and findings to stakeholders. - Provide recommendations for improving product quality and user experience. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing. - Experience with SQL and database concepts. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA or HP ALM. - Experience in test planning, test design, test execution, and defect management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium or UFT. - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. - Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
