Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your day will involve troubleshooting, analyzing system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Proactively identify and resolve application issues. - Collaborate with developers and system engineers to enhance system functionality. - Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference. - Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support. - Assist in the implementation of new applications and systems. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Sybase Database Administration (DBA). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Infrastructure. - Strong understanding of database management principles. - Knowledge of SQL query optimization techniques. - Experience in performance tuning and capacity planning for databases. - Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures for databases. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Sybase Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Noida office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
