Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire application development process and ensuring its successful implementation. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. - Ensure the delivery of high-quality applications within the specified timeline. - Identify and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the development process. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables. - Manage and prioritize project tasks and resources. - Ensure effective communication and coordination between team members and stakeholders. - Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and processes. - Provide regular project updates and reports to management. - Identify and mitigate any risks or issues that may impact project delivery. - Support the testing and deployment of applications. - Provide post-implementation support and address any user concerns or issues. - Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Duck Creek Claims. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. - Experience in leading and managing application development projects. - In-depth knowledge of application design and architecture principles. - Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java or .NET. - Experience with database management systems and SQL. - Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. - Experience with automated testing frameworks. - Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Duck Creek Claims. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
