Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the infrastructure and providing efficient support to the team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure the smooth functioning of production systems and services. - Manage the delivery of services based on operational requirements and service agreement. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or incidents that arise in the infrastructure. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in the infrastructure. - Proactively monitor the performance and availability of systems and services. - Document and maintain accurate records of incidents, changes, and configurations. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in infrastructure service management. - Assist in the implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance the infrastructure. - Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in all operations. - Participate in on-call rotations and respond to any emergencies or critical incidents. - Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in the infrastructure. - Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues. - Contribute to the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans and procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure Service Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices. - Experience in incident management and problem resolution. - Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies. - Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. - Ability to analyze and interpret system logs and performance metrics. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Infrastructure Service Management. - This position is based at our Coimbatore office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
