Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in developing efficient and effective software solutions to enhance business operations and improve user experience. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing requirements, designing application architecture, coding, testing, and debugging applications. You will also be responsible for ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of the applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. - Design and develop high-quality software applications based on business process and application requirements. - Configure and customize applications to meet specific client needs. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of the applications. - Collaborate with quality assurance teams to conduct system testing and resolve any issues. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application development processes. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of application development. - Train and mentor junior developers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Warehouse Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Defense. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing scalable and secure applications. - Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Familiarity with database management systems and SQL. - Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with version control systems and code repositories. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in BlueYonder Warehouse Management. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
