Job Summary: Manage, optimize and forecast cloud spend across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of cloud cost management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: · Monitor and analyze cloud expenditures across Azure and GCP. · Implement cost-saving strategies and best practices to optimize cloud spend. · Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into cloud costs. · Assist in budget planning and forecasting for cloud expenses. · Provide detailed cost analysis and financial modeling to support decision-making. · Identify and recommend cost optimization opportunities, such as right-sizing, reserved instances, and autoscaling. · Continuously track and report on the effectiveness of cost-saving measures. · Develop and enforce cloud cost management policies and governance frameworks. · Leverage FinOps tools and platforms to automate and streamline cost management processes. Required Skills and Experience: · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. · Professional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) and/or FinOps (e.g., FinOps Certified Practitioner) are a plus. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud financial management, cloud operations, or related roles. Preferred Skills and Experience: • Proven experience with Azure and GCP cost management tools and services. • Proficiency in cloud cost management tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, AWS Cost Explorer, etc.). • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau). • Possesses soft skills like collaboration, communication and customer focus. • Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for cost management.
