Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and efficiency of the applications. A typical day in this role involves collaborating with the team to understand the requirements, designing and developing applications, and testing and debugging the code. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the development process. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design, build, and configure applications based on business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with the team to understand the requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Develop and test application code to ensure functionality and efficiency. - Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the development process. - Ensure the applications meet quality standards and adhere to best practices. - Provide support and maintenance for the applications. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in application development. - Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions. - Assist in the documentation of technical specifications and user manuals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing applications based on business requirements. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL. - Familiarity with version control systems and code repositories. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java or C++. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe. - This position is based at our Indore office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
