Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. You will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve implementing quality processes, utilizing automation tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. - Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues. - Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and design appropriate test cases. - Identify opportunities for test automation and implement efficient testing strategies. - Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for improvement. - Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and quality engineering. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Utilities Work And Asset Management. - Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. - Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Appium. - Knowledge of programming languages like Java or Python. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Utilities Work And Asset Management. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
