Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in endpoint extended detection and response to ensure the security of our organization's systems and data. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. - Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions. - Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents. - Install, configure, and upgrade security software and hardware. - Create and maintain documentation related to security procedures and protocols. - Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities. - Conduct security audits and risk assessments. - Provide guidance and support to junior security professionals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Endpoint Extended Detection and Response. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with network security technologies. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). - Experience with security incident response and management. - Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools. - Understanding of encryption algorithms and cryptographic protocols. - Ability to analyze and interpret security logs and event data. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Endpoint Extended Detection and Response. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
