Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire application development process and ensuring its successful implementation. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Lead the development and implementation of applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. - Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality and performance of the applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement. - Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope. - Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively. - Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. - Provide support and troubleshooting for applications in production. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services. - Strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes. - Experience in designing and implementing data migration strategies. - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. - Experience with SQL and database management systems. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP BusinessObjects suite. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP BW. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
